Dear Rita,
Having just completed the reading of 'Goodbye America', I want to express my heartfelt insistence that you create your sequel.......'Hello America'.
We must hear about what happened to Anna upon her return to the United States!!!!!! How did her relationship with Mommo renew itself, where did they all live, where did Mary, Julia, George and Anna attend school, and the folks in Pohorela....and your beautiful daughters...............
It was a great pleasure to meet you recently at the FEEFHS Conference in Pittsburgh.....I believe I speak equally for my sister when I express the genuinely warm feeling we felt during our conversations there with you. Commonality in heritage can produce a sharing that transcends the
everyday.
Thank you for speaking to me as I was browsing the display tables on
Friday as that meeting made the subsequent exchanges possible.
'Hello America', only as Anna can express it............
I wish you continued success with your wonderful book...

Hello Rita,
It was my pleasure to have met you at the Pittsburgh Folk Festival.
I have read your terrific book "Goodbye America". Thank you for
writing about your mother's personal memories and sharing them.
As promised the title of Anna Walko's book is "Eternal Memory" .
If unavailable at your local book store, it is available at www.crs.org or
sales@c-rs.org . There is also another book by Sonya Jason "Icon of Spring" that is
also about a Slovak girl growing up in western Pa.
I hope you will continue to write about your family. How did Mary and George handle
their situation?
ahoj, (goodbye), Judy
